KYT Touring Helmet's collaboration with aeronautical engineers, the utilization of innovative software, and wind tunnel testing have contributed to creating a helmet perfectly suited to its purpose.

SHELL:

The shell is manufactured in two sizes (M and L) and is made of Tri-Fiber composite, a mix of kevlar, carbon and fiberglass, to ensure better impact resistance and a lighter weight.

PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE:

The inner polystyrene is manufactured in 3 different sizes to obtain the best ergonomics with different thicknesses. This feature allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the impact force generated by an impact. Although most of the energy due to an impact is absorbed by the outer protective layer due to its deformation, the role of the polystyrene is decisive for the absorption of the residual energy.

VISOR:

The visor is made of polycarbonate with different thicknesses in optical class 1 and anti-scratch treatment. The visor is easily removable thanks to a practical mechanism that does not require any tools.

PIN LOCK:

NZ-RACE is equipped with Pinlock® Max Vision 70 Antifog.

VENTILATION:

The internal polystyrene is designed to work in symbiosis with 3 frontal air inlets in the shell. Special EPS channels allow for continuous airflow, ensuring perfect ventilation inside the helmet and rapid evacuation of hot air through the extractors located at the rear, under the aerodynamic spoiler.

INTERNAL:

The interiors are removable and washable, in fine, soft fiber fabrics that, together with special sponges, facilitate airflow, keeping the part in contact with the face dry and cool. The cheek pads are prepared for Bluetooth headsets, have an emergency system for quick removal in case of need and are predisposed to “wearable glasses”.

RETENTION SYSTEM:

• The retention system used is the “Double D-RING” in light alloy.
