KYT NZ Race Espargaro Replica full-face motorcycle racing helmet with a tri-composite material construction. Extensive research has gone into shaping this full-face helmet, including fluid dynamics software analysis, wind tunnel testing and track testing with KYT riders. The aim was to optimise aerodynamics, ventilation and comfort whilst maintaining a dynamic and streamlined aesthetic.

The carefully designed spoiler of the KYT sport bike helmet not only improves aerodynamics but also contributes to overall comfort. Ventilation is a key aspect, ensuring efficient airflow for the diffusion of fresh air whilst allowing moisture to escape, creating a harmonious interior climate. The visor, which meets Class 1 optical standards, provides a wide peripheral and vertical field of vision at 210° and 90°, respectively. Anti-scratch treatment, Pinlock® Max Vision 70 anti-fog lens, and lightweight design make it a top-tier choice suitable for both professional track use and enjoyable road rides.

SHELL:

The shell is manufactured in two sizes (M and L) and is made of Tri-Fiber composite, a mix of Kevlar, carbon and fiberglass, to ensure better impact resistance and lighter weight.

PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE:

The inner polystyrene is manufactured in 3 different sizes to obtain the best ergonomics with different thicknesses. This feature allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the impact force generated by an impact. Although most of the energy due to an impact is absorbed by the outer protective layer due to its deformation, the role of polystyrene is decisive in absorbing residual energy.

VISOR:

The internal polystyrene is designed to work in symbiosis with 3 frontal air inlets in the shell. Special EPS channels allow for continuous air flow, ensuring perfect ventilation inside the helmet and rapid evacuation of hot air through the extractors located at the rear, under the aerodynamic spoiler.

PIN LOCK:

NZ-RACE is equipped with Pinlock® Max Vision 70 Antifog.

VENTILATION:

INTERNAL:

The interiors are removable and washable, in fine, soft fiber fabrics that, together with special sponges, facilitate airflow, keeping the part in contact with the face dry and cool. The cheek pads are prepared for Bluetooth headsets, have an emergency system to remove them quickly in case of need and are predisposed to “wearable glasses”.

RETENTION SYSTEM:

The retention system used is the “Double D-RING” in light alloy.
