Its outer shell, made of 600D Cordura, is abrasion and water resistant, and is complemented by a removable quilted thermal liner that protects you from the cold, and a fixed waterproof membrane that protects you from the rain. For warmer days, simply remove the thermal liner and enjoy the lightness, enhanced by a mesh lining in the base layer.
