The HJC RPHA 72 Carbon is a true sport-touring helmet, developed for riders who demand high performance during aggressive riding as well as long-distance comfort on extended journeys. A key advancement of the RPHA 72 Carbon is its compact 3-shell / 5 EPS construction. Compared to the RPHA 71, it features a slimmer, more refined profile that significantly improves aerodynamic efficiency. Wind-tunnel testing confirms a 19.7% reduction in drag and a 6.2% reduction in lift, resulting in improved stability and reduced fatigue at speed.

Design enhancements such as the updated chin curtain and SMART HJC cover system improve airflow management while reducing wind noise. The newly engineered visor is lighter and more compact, offering a clear, wide field of view. Combined with an improved ratchet mechanism, it provides smoother operation and a tighter seal.

Inside, the helmet features a redesigned interior with an extended semi neck-roll to further reduce wind noise. Reflective trim on the top liner increases visibility in low-light conditions, enhancing rider safety.
