Importance and advantages of product

Leather seats look much more elegant than traditional fabric seats, but they are the most delicate when it comes to cleaning them.

The main advantage of our product is that it not only cleans but is also able to moisturize and nourishthe leather upholstery of the vehicle, thus preventing it from drying out and cracking. The most important thing is that as soon as we have a stain on the seats, we must act quickly to prevent it from drying out and leaving marks. If we let more time pass, lasting stains can occur on the material.

Another advantage of our Leather Moisturizing Cleaner is its versatility since it can be used on:

At this point we must bear in mind that the maintenance and care of the leather seats of the car is not the same as that of the motorcycle. The main reason is that the motorcycle is always exposed to rain, humidity and the UV rays of the sun that directly affect it and this causes wear and deterioration of the leather. However, the leather seats of the car, although they are protected from direct contact with the sun, are affected by the heat since with an outside temperature of 25ºC and in the sun, it can mean an inside temperature of 40ºC thus causing dehydration and drying out of the leather.

That is why for the car it is advisable to clean and moisturize the seat every three months in winter and in summer when it is hotter and more humid it can be done every month. In the case of the motorcycle, it should be done periodically since due to the characteristics of the vehicle it is more exposed to the elements and although it is not always possible, it is advisable to keep it in a garage and thus protect it from external agents.

How to clean leather upholstery in cars and motorcycles?

When it comes to cleaning, it is best to have a spray product as its application will be much easier and more comfortable. We just have to shake the product and spray it on the area to be treated (we must first test it on a small area to check that it does not affect the surface) and very carefully wipe it with a soft cotton cloth or a dry microfibre cloth to work the area with circular movements, especially the seams and folds, which is where dirt tends to accumulate the most. For an optimal finish we can wipe it with a dry cloth to make it shine, once the product has dried.

How to clean a leather motorcycle suit?

To clean the outside of a leather suit or jacket, the first thing to do is to have a few clean cloths on hand. Use the first dry cloth to remove any dust that may be on the suit. After this, spray our product on the garment and with a second microfiber cloth or soft-bristled brush, work each area, rubbing all the corners (we recommend making circular movements). Then, pass a third cloth that is clean, preferably cotton, to remove all the dirt and finally let it dry on a hanger.

This garment usually deteriorates over time and can crack if we do not perform a periodic cleaning and care. This is why we recommend that if it is not used frequently, at least once a year this task should be carried out. However, if used regularly, we can do it every two or three months.
