A distinctive technique developed by Nolan's craftsmen at the Bergamo headquarters, where all production currently takes place, combines paint and decals using special masking. This results in the Special Paintwork series, which offers a bold but harmonious combination of colours and graphics. The Nolan N90-3 modular helmet features four Special Paint variants, each incorporating black along with new "Noble" colours such as Impulse Green, Sand, Pearl and Visceral Red. The interior is updated with Kent Grey, to satisfy riders who appreciate style without excess.
